Responsibilities
• Work on cutting-edge international projects and adapt to a vibrant multicultural team.
• Develop and support high-performance kdb+ solutions, integrating them seamlessly into broader applications and systems.
• Engage in daily coding using KDB/q, ensuring robust and efficient performance.
• Collaborate closely with front-office technology teams, understanding business requirements and translating them into innovative designs.
• Lead and participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, architectural design discussions, to deployment.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and fine-tune performance ensuring seamless user experience.
• Stay updated on the latest in kdb+/q advancements, ensuring Natali Lanka remains a leader in time-series database solutions.
Requirements
• Experience in kdb+/q application development.
• Understanding of time-series databases and their real-world applications.
• Knowledge in q scripting, query optimization, and KDB architecture best practices.
• Exposure to financial markets or related data is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages like Java, C++, or Python would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but self-taught programmers with a proven ability to learn independently are also welcome.
